These free printable birthday cards are full of sweetness (and a jadeite cake plate- my fave!). Whether you choose the option with or without the background, your card is sure to be a treat itself for its recipient. Download your favorite version of these free birthday cards below.
I've said it before, birthday cards are definitely one of my favorite things to design. And today's designs are even more fun because it's my actual birthday (I'm a birthday person, y'all)! I try to carry the celebration onto the blogs, and this time it's in the form of two free birthday cards. They are the same design...with a delicious cake and an overall feminine feel. Download your favorite version below.
Free Birthday Cards
May your birthday be a treat.I tried to make this card just a tiny bit punny with the cake design being a part of the "treat" idea.
There is a version of the card that has a light pink checked background and one without (to save a bit of ink, if you prefer).
Printing and Using Your Cards
- These birthday cards are for personal use. However, if you do own a small business or shop and would like to carry the printed versions of these cards, you may purchase a commercial license to do just that here. Do note that reselling of digital items (not printed) is never allowed.
- Be sure to print your cards onto white, letter-sized cardstock. Regular paper is too thin for greeting card printing. Purchase a pack of white, letter-sized cardstock here on Amazon.
- Once your card is printed, simply cut it out of the cardstock. I have provided a small, green hairline running around the perimeter of each card to make this easy. I also recommend a paper cutter if you're cutting a few cards. I have used my Fiskars Paper Trimmer for many years and love it...it has a small wire inside that acts as a cutting guide and it's very exact. Grab the same paper trimmer here on Amazon. Of course, good ol' scissors work perfectly well, too.
- After your card is cut out, fold it in half. Run a finger (or the handle end of your scissors) along the fold to smooth out the creases.
- Now here is the best part...write your own sweet message inside the card.
- Envelope information is provided below.
Envelopes for Your Cards
All of my free printable cards I design for Print Pretty Cards are created to fit inside standard A6 envelopes. The measurements for A6 envelopes are 4 3/4" x 6 1/2". I purchase all of my own A6 envelopes through Amazon (they seem to have the most options and colors to choose from...even over my local office-supply stores). I have listed a couple options below on Amazon that will work well for today's printable birthday cards:
Preprinted Birthday Cards
Do you prefer to have someone else do the printing? No problem. I have preprinted cards with today's designs available in my Society 6 shop here:
