These two Free Printable Christmas Cards are the perfect way to celebrate the festive season we're entering. Whether you're sending lots of holiday greetings across the miles, or maybe just a few Christmas cards to neighbors and friends, these easy-to-use prints are sure to warm the hearts of your recipients.
Free Printable Christmas Cards
There have been years when I have been super ambitious and sent out truckloads of family cards around the holidays. But honestly, that hasn't happened lately. I now prefer to just send a few, well-thought out sentiments to friends and family that I don't chat with regularly, but still love to keep up with, especially during the Christmas season. I want the thoughts to be sincere and just to them, as well. That's where simple designs like these free printable Christmas cards are perfect. I can easily keep them on hand (or on hard drive) to print out, fill in with a greeting, and send off. It's easy and perfect for this busy time of the year. The above pictured card is the one without the background. Honestly, I love either of these designs so much, But, there is something kind of fun about this white background that makes that little red beetle just pop right off the page!
Larger Prints Available
As I mentioned above, these Christmas cards are the same designs I used for this (above pictured) Merry Christmas car printable over on my other blog. So, if you'd prefer more of a framable print, that option may be a better fit for you. It's available in several sizes and has the background-free option, as well. It's a super sweet print to welcome in the holiday season in your home or workplace. You can find it here on my other blog, I Should Be Mopping the Floor. You can see the difference in the design options above. I honestly love them both. The white background allows that car's colors to really jump off that page. But, the watercolor holiday plaid perfectly anchors the car laden with Christmas goodness to the page. You really can't go wrong with either design (but the white background will save you a bit of ink, if you're looking to cut costs a bit).
Printing and Using Your Christmas Cards
- Please note that these card designs are for personal use only. You may not recreate them with the intention of reselling in any manner.
- Both of the download links for these Christmas card designs are listed further below in this post.
- Once you have downloaded your card, print it out on your home printer using white letter-sized cardstock (regular paper is too thin for this).
- You can grab a pack of white letter-sized cardstock here on Amazon. That's where I purchase mine...they have the best price around.
- Once you print your card, cut it out just inside the green hairline outline that runs around the perimeter of the card.
- Fold your card in half. Use either the handle side of heavier stainless steel scissors or a bone folder to create a smooth crease along the fold of your card.
- Write your own holiday greetings on the inside of your card. Tuck in an envelope and send to a friend. Envelope information is listed below. These look lovely on their own, too...no envelope necessary (attach to a gift with a clothespin for a shabby chic feel).
Envelopes for Your Christmas Cards
All of the greeting cards here on Print Pretty Cards are sized for A6 envelopes. Standard-sized A6 envelopes measure 4 3/4" x 6 1/2". Today's Christmas Card designs would look lovely in either white or kraft paper style envelopes (the kraft paper will give these a rustic vibe).- Grab the white A6 envelopes (pictured above) here on Amazon.
- Grab the kraft paper A6 envelopes here on Amazon.
