Printable Notecards for Kids
My stationery drawer in my desk is, by far, my favorite space in that piece of furniture. And guess what? I've had a designated stationery drawer since I was a kid. My mother fueled my love of letter-writing and always helped me keep that drawer stocked with notecards, stationery, envelopes, stamps, stickers, and pens. I was actually one of those rare kids who enjoyed writing a thank you note for a gift.
After my youngest son's 15th birthday dinner in February, I had him write notes of thanks to his friends. The notes weren't only for the gifts, but also for the friends' time they took to spend with him on his special day. One friend of his joked with him and said, "Did your mom make you write these?". He laughed and said, "well, kind of." He later told me that he actually liked sending out these notes to his friends. They had put so much time and thought into his evening and gifts that he felt he really needed them to know how appreciative he was.
And these days, a hand-written thank you note definitely goes a long way into getting that point across. I'm hoping he takes his "mom's thank you note lessons" into his life forevermore.
These printable notecards are in a bright, fun watercolor motif. One card is bordered with multi-colored circles, while the other is bordered with multi-colored triangles.

Printing and Using these Notecards
- These cards are best printed onto white, letter-sized cardstock. Purchase a pack here on Amazon.
- After printing, you can cut out your cards using the faint yellow hairline as a guide (it runs the perimeter of each card).
- Scissors or a paper cutter work great. I love this Fiskars Paper Trimmer from Amazon (I've had it for years and use it like crazy!).
