Today's free printable Fathers Day cards are perfect for your very own resident World's Best Dad! There are two background options available with this one...both with a masculine green and navy scheme. Dad will definitely love these.

These cards are actually inspired by a t-shirt I gave my own sweet dad when I was in grade school. It had a globe with this very phrase: "World's Best Dad" scrawled across the front of the shirt in gigantic lettering. And that sweet dad of mine wore it with pride more often than he *really* needed to. After he passed away, I found that 35+ year old shirt in his dresser drawer and it just made me smile and cry at the same time. Dads really are the best, y'all. Grab one of these free printable Fathers Day cards below to honor your own sweet dad this year.

Even though my own father has passed away, I still enjoy Fathers Day, especially celebrating and honoring him in spirit. It's also a nice day in our own home as we celebrate my husband. This year, the boys and I are putting in a small garden area just for him...a very specific kind of garden he's been thinking about for some time. Hoping you're able to celebrate all of those special dads in your life this Father's Day, as well.

There are two separate design options for you to choose from with these printable Fathers Day cards.

Options for Printable Fathers Day Cards:

There is an option without a background (pictured above) that can save you a bit of ink in the printing process.

The other option with the background (pictured above) has a plaid background reminiscent of that classic "dad plaid" shirt. You really can't go wrong with either of these designs, but I am partial to the plaid option.

Printing and Using Your Cards

  • These free printable fathers day cards are for personal use. However, if you have a small shop or business and would like to stock the physical, printed version of these cards (no digital reselling is permitted), you can purchase a commercial license here
  • Make sure to only print greeting cards of this type onto letter-sized white cardstock paper. Regular paper is too thin for printable greeting cards and the corners will curl.
  • After printing out your Father's Day card, you'll cut around the outside of the small blue hairline surrounding the perimeter of the card. You can use scissors or even a paper cutter for this. Personally, I like to use my Fiskars Paper Cutter-- it makes quick work of cutting out cards and keeps the edges completely straight.
  • Once your Father's Day card is cut out, fold it in half.
  • Optional, but a nice touch: I like to take the handle of my scissors and run it along the fold of the card to remove any wrinkles. It gives the card's crease a crisper, more polished look.
  • And the most important part: don't forget to write your own sentiments to dad inside of the card. This is a great way to personalize your card for his special day.
  • Envelope information is included below.

  1. I like the way the colorings been done - reminds me of the look of something colored with markers.

I could see this being a great card for him by simply changing the sentiment - "Happy Birthday", "Thank You", etc.
