Today's free printable Valentines Card for Teacher is perfect to color in (or leave blank) and give to your child's teacher this LOVE-filled season. It's a simple card, but personalized for that special person who leads a classroom full of kiddos day in and day out. A little Valentine card will go a long way to making them smile.

Valentines Card for Teacher
I haven't designed a colorable print in forever (actually, not sure there are any over here on this blog). But, it's such a fun way to add personalization, especially to a greeting card. And this Valentines Card for Teacher is perfect for any age range (one of my teens said it might be kind of funny if he colored one for his favorite teacher- I actually think that would be an adorable idea!). Valentines Card for Teacher

With all of the stress that educators are under these days, I think a Valentine card is a simple but sweet way to let them know how very much they're appreciated. And this one is so easy for your child to personalize with a few of their favorite colors from the crayon box.

Above, you can see that either coloring the words and designs in or just leaving them completely blank will work. Personally, I love the colored-in look, but you can't go wrong either way. Even precious little kindergartener coloring will be so sweet on this card.

Printing and Using Your Cards

  • These Valentine's Cards for Teachers are for personal use. However, if you do have your own small shop or business and would like to carry the printed versions of these cards, you may purchase a commercial license to do just that here. Do note that reselling of digital items (not printed) is strictly prohibited.
  • Be sure you print these cards onto white, letter-sized cardstock. Regular paper is far too thin for greeting card printing. Purchase a pack of white, letter-sized cardstock here on Amazon.
  • After your card has been printed, simply cut it out of the cardstock. I have provided a small hairline running around the perimeter of each card to make this easy. I also recommend a paper cutter if you're cutting a few cards. I have used a Fiskars Paper Trimmer for many years and love it...it has a small wire that acts as a cutting guide and it's very exact. Grab the same paper trimmer here on Amazon. Of course, good ol' scissors work quite well, too.
  • After your card is cut out, fold it in half. Run your finger (or the handle end of your scissors) along the fold to smooth out any creases.
  • Now here is my favorite part...have your child write their own Valentine sentiments inside the card (if you need ideas, I have a great resource available below).

Envelope Information

All of the free printable cards I create here on Print Pretty Cards are designed to perfectly fit inside standard A6 envelopes. The standard A6 envelope measures 4 3/4" x 6 1/2". I purchase all of my own A6 envelopes through Amazon (they consistently have the best options and colors to choose from...even over a local office-supply stores). I have listed a couple options below on Amazon that will work well for today's printable Valentine's cards for teachers:

What to Write in a Valentines Card
It can sometimes be intimidating to write a message inside a card...I mean, we want it to be sweet and memorable, but that doesn't always just pop into one's head. If your child needs some thought-starters, be sure to check out my post on What to Write in a Valentine's Day Card. The section on Valentines for Friends or even the scriptures and quotes have some options that could easily work in a Valentines Card for Teacher.
