Today's free printable Christmas Gift Tags will warm the heart of any plaid fan! There are four fun patterns and two wording options included in this set of free prints...all perfectly festive for the holiday season.
I love plaid in every form...but a Christmas tartan? I'm definitely smitten. So, I had to use this classic Christmas pattern in gift tag form...it just seemed like the right thing to do. These all have the fun design covering the front of the tag, but you can use the blank back to fill in with your to/from information. Download these free printable Christmas Gift Tags below.

These colors and patterns definitely scream Christmas loud and clear! They're a fun addition to brown paper packaging or even simple-patterned gift wrap.

Printing and Using Your Gift Tags
- You can download these printable gift tags below.
- These plaid Christmas tags are for personal use. However, if you do own a small business or shop and would like to use the printed versions of the tags for marketing or resell (no digital redistribution is ever allowed), you can purchase a commercial license here.
- Be sure to print your tags onto white, letter-sized cardstock paper. Regular paper will be too thin and flimsy for a tag of this nature. After cut, it will curl up on the ends, or worse, get itself all wrinkly and sloppy. Cardstock is the way to go.
- After printing, cut your gift tags out just inside the hairline border provided.
- Scissors work great, but I enjoy using my Fiskars Paper Trimmer (pictured above) to get really straight lines when cutting tags and cards. You can grab this same trimmer here on Amazon.
- Don't forget to include a sweet, hand-written message on the backside of the tag.Or, just a simple "to" and "from" will certainly work.
- Using a smaller, 1/8" hole punch is a good way to make the hole a bit more understated (as pictured above). This also provides a more secure spot (less prone to tearing) for attaching ribbon or twine.
- String ribbon or twine through your hole and attach to your gift. I used this Christmas Baker's Twine from Amazon.

Again, you can download the "mixed" option with both wording styles included, or just a full sheet of your favorite wording style.
